By design, v0 protects your main branch. Changes go through pull requests so your production code stays safe, and v0 never pushes directly to main.
How do previews work now?
Previews run your full application exactly as it would in production, including server-side code, API routes, database connections, and environment variables. Under the hood, v0 uses Vercel Sandbox, an isolated virtual machine that replaces the previous browser-based preview.
What does a token mean on v0?
Input tokens are measured based on what you send, and output tokens are measured based on what v0 returns. Every prompt and response is broken into tokens, and pricing is based on how many of each are processed.
