Maker's Comment
I created **US Time Zones** because I often needed to check the current time across different parts of the United States while working with people in multiple states. Existing solutions were either websites full of ads, overloaded with unnecessary features, or too slow for something as simple as checking the time. My goal was to build the fastest and easiest way to see US time directly from the browser. Instead of opening tabs or searching online, users can access accurate clocks with one click from the Chrome toolbar. The extension is lightweight, privacy-friendly, works offline, and lets users create their own list of cities instead of forcing a fixed layout. What makes US Time Zones different is its focus on simplicity and speed. Rather than trying to be a complex scheduling platform or world clock, it solves one specific problem exceptionally well: giving users instant access to accurate US time whenever they need it. I believe focused tools provide a better experience than feature-heavy alternatives, and that's the philosophy behind this product.
US Time Zone and Clock in one click. Eastern Time New York, Central Time Chicago, Mountain Time Denver, Pacific Time Los Angeles
Working with people in the United States often means asking the same question over and over: What time is it there right now?
Instead of searching online every day, install US Time Zones and keep accurate American clocks available directly from your Chrome toolbar. Open the extension with one click to see the current time across the country, compare multiple locations, and organize your own collection of cities.
Whether you're scheduling business meetings, coordinating remote teams, planning travel, or simply following the time in another state, everything you need is available in a lightweight browser widget.
Right after installation you'll see the most commonly used clocks:
🗽 Your current local time
🌆 Eastern Time — New York, Boston, Atlanta
🌃 Central Time — Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Nashville
🏔️ Mountain Time — Denver
🌉 Pacific Time — Los Angeles and California
The extension displays the major US time zones together in one place, including familiar abbreviations such as EST, CST, MST and PST, making every region easy to recognize.
Not everyone needs the same locations.
Some users only watch New York, while others need dozens of cities spread across different states.
With a few clicks you can create your own personalized dashboard.
Available options include:
➤ Add any city you need
➤ Remove locations you no longer use
➤ Pin important cities to the top
➤ Hide the default clocks
➤ Start with an empty list if you prefer
Your setup stays exactly the way you left it, so the clocks you use every day are always ready.
Although most people think about Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific, the extension lets you monitor far more locations.
