Is there a free plan or trial for WeWeb?
Yes. WeWeb offers a free seat plan and free WeWeb Cloud plans, so you can build and deploy an application completely for free. With a paid seat plan you can also publish to a free WeWeb subdomain with WeWeb branding, so you only start paying when you need a custom domain or higher capacity.
Do visit and bandwidth limits still apply if I export my project and self-host it?
No. If you self-host your app on your own infrastructure, none of the WeWeb Cloud limits apply, including visits, bandwidth, database, and backend compute. WeWeb lets you export both the front-end and backend code and deploy it anywhere, though you still need a seat plan to keep building in the editor.
What happens if my app exceeds the included limits?
WeWeb notifies you first. On Launch+ and Grow+ plans, if usage stays above the limit after notification, the project auto-upgrades to the next tier and you pay the prorated difference immediately. On Scale+, extra usage is billed at pay-as-you-go rates and your app is never suddenly shut off.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my subscription easily?
Yes. You can change plans anytime in the Billing settings of your WeWeb dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated pricing, while downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Legacy hosting plan users must cancel first before purchasing a new plan.
What are AI Tokens in the pricing plans?
AI Tokens are the fuel for WeWeb's built-in AI features, consumed when the AI assistant generates content, logic, or designs. Each seat plan includes a monthly token allotment that resets every month and does not roll over. Running out means upgrading to a higher seat plan or waiting for the monthly reset.
Do you offer discounts for annual billing or any special pricing?
Yes. Annual billing offers savings of up to 20% compared to monthly billing, with the exact amount shown on the pricing page. WeWeb has also introduced regional pricing in certain countries.
