About SerpBear
Overview
SerpBear is an open source search engine position tracking app. It tracks your website's keyword positions in Google and notifies you when those positions change. Users deploy it with Docker or run it directly from the GitHub source at zero cost.

How It Works
The app uses third-party web scrapers such as ScrapingRobot, SerpAPI, or your own proxy IPs to scrape Google search results and determine whether your domain appears and at what position. Because Google removed the num=100 parameter in 2025 and now limits each request to 10 results, SerpBear's Scrape Strategy system issues multiple paginated requests per keyword when needed.
To start, deploy and run the app with Docker or without, then log in and add your first domain. You connect a free scraping API key or proxy IPs, add your keywords, and begin tracking. Optionally you configure SMTP to receive email alerts, and integrate Google Ads for search volume and keyword research or Google Search Console for visit data.
