About Jitter

Overview

Jitter is a collaborative motion design tool that runs in the web browser. It helps creative teams design and ship polished animations at scale, from the first idea to the final export. Over 20,000 creative teams use Jitter to create animations online.

The tool pairs AI generation with full manual control, so users can describe an idea and get editable animation, then fine-tune every parameter until the result feels like their own.

Key Benefits

  • Generate editable animations, effects, and variations by describing an idea with AI
  • Tweak any parameter using natural language or simple controls
  • Ship hundreds of variations with automations and AI workflows
  • Create hundreds of scene variations with different copy or assets using Magic Import
  • Auto-resize and auto-translate animations for various channels and languages in one click
  • Export hundreds of animations at once to video, GIF, Lottie, or other formats

How It Works

Describe an idea and let Jitter AI generate editable animations, effects, and variations ready to tweak and reuse. Refine AI-generated effects or build motion from scratch in a familiar interface, then collaborate in a shared workspace, gather feedback with in-context comments, and export the final files.

Use Cases

  • Designers kickstart animated ideas with AI prompts and fine-tune the result
  • Brand teams centralize projects, assets, and files in a shared workspace
  • Freelancers create and export HD animations for client work
  • Marketing teams auto-resize and translate animations for multiple channels and languages
  • Product teams build animated components and update all designs with a single edit
  • Studios remix 400+ free templates to produce polished showreels and promos

Why Choose This Product

Jitter combines AI generation with full manual control in one collaborative web tool. A free plan and a library of 400+ templates lower the barrier to entry, while batch export, animated components, and AI workflows support scaling from one to hundreds of production-ready animations.

Frequently asked questions about Jitter

Can I use Jitter for free?

Yes. Jitter is entirely free to use with the Free plan. You can use the free plan indefinitely and upgrade to Pro or Max to remove the watermark from exports, unlock unlimited workspace files and HD export options, and access collaboration features.

Why should I upgrade to Pro, Max, or Enterprise?

Pro is built for freelancers and small teams and removes the Jitter watermark, adds unlimited workspace files, HD export (1080p, 60fps), ProRes and WebM formats, unlimited folders, and up to 10 editors. Max adds UHD export (4K, 120fps), transparent and frame-by-frame export, team libraries, and up to 50 editors. Enterprise adds SSO, advanced security, a dedicated account manager, and pre-release features.

How does workspace billing work?

Creating a workspace and inviting editors is free. Upgrading to Pro or Max enables advanced export and collaboration features. Monthly subscriptions charge each month based on editor count, with prorated charges for editors added during the month. Yearly subscriptions charge for the whole year based on current editor count, with prorated charges or credits for changes.

Do editors get paid plan benefits for their Drafts?

Yes. With a paid Jitter plan, all editors in your workspace get access to the plan's features for their Drafts as well.

Does my paid plan apply to multiple workspaces?

No. The Pro and Max plans only apply to the workspace they are associated with. To get paid plan features for multiple workspaces, you need to upgrade each workspace separately.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime by going to Workspace settings and choosing Manage plan. After cancelling, you keep access to paid features until the end of your billing period. Jitter does not provide prorated refunds if you cancel after a new billing cycle starts.
