I got into EA FC 26 last year and quickly realized the ecosystem is fragmented. Want to check a player's stats? One site. Calculate transfer tax? Another. Find a formation that actually works against a 4-2-3-1? A Reddit thread from three months ago. I was tab-switching constantly and still missing information. So I built Fifax News as the site I wished existed — one place where the data, the tools, and the tactical knowledge live together. It started as a player database and a tax calculator. Then I added a pack simulator because my friends kept asking "what are the odds?" Then an opponent analyzer because I kept losing to the same formation on weekends. It snowballed into 22+ tools. What makes it different from existing options:First, it's genuinely free. No premium tier hiding the good stuff. I monetize through ads, and that's enough for a solo dev.Second, the tools are interactive and specific. Not just "here's a player list" — you can simulate opening packs with realistic probabilities, build custom cards with SVG export, plan set piece routines visually, and get counter-tactic suggestions based on opponent shape. These are things I actually needed while playing.Third, I treated SEO as a product feature, not an afterthought. 64 routes × 16 locales = 1,024 statically generated pages with proper hreflang, JSON-LD structured data, and automated sitemaps. The site gets organic traffic from markets I never manually targeted — Arabic, Thai, Korean — just because the i18n infrastructure was there from day one.Fourth, there's a dedicated FIFA Heroes hub. EA announced the game but reliable info is scattered. I'm tracking release dates, platforms, trailers, and early access details in one place. Being early here feels like a good bet.The tech stack is React 19 + Vite + TypeScript + Tailwind on the frontend, Supabase on the backend. The UI deliberately mimics the game's visual language — dark theme, particle effects, card flip animations — because the audience expects that aesthetic. It's not a corporate dashboard. It should feel like you're still in the game.I'm solo dev, so the site is very much a labor of love. Feedback genuinely shapes the roadmap. If there's a tool you wish existed for FC 26, tell me and there's a decent chance I'll build it.
