Frequently asked questions about Draftbit
Do I need an AI subscription to use Draftbit?
No, but most people use one. You can connect your Claude or ChatGPT subscription, or an OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter key. The Free plan's 5,000 credits let you try Draftbit first, and any paid plan can add more credits.
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes. Upgrades apply right away with a prorated charge and restart your billing cycle. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current period, and you keep paid features until then.
What happens to my projects if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Projects and apps stay in your account and stay open. From the day the lower plan starts, you cannot create projects beyond its limits, and features above the plan such as code export or app store publishing lock until you upgrade again.
Do credits roll over to the next month?
Partly. Credits from a monthly plan or credit package stay usable for 30 days after the billing period they were granted for, so one month overlaps the next. Yearly plans receive the whole year of credits up front.
