Overview
Amp is a coding agent and development environment built for the frontier. Users run agents inside orbs, cloud environments where the agent keeps working after they close their laptop, or on their own machine through the Amp CLI and runner. How It Works
Users install the Amp CLI with a single command and run amp in a terminal against local files and tools, or start an orb in the cloud. They send a prompt and close the laptop, then continue steering the agent from the web or a phone.
